i went to emerald downs for the first time last weekend and it was just about the funnest thing ever.

my bathtub is currently home to an inch of MUD. it had been clogged for three days on saturday, when landon attempted to fix it with vinegar, baking soda and a wire hanger. his attempts were fruitless. yesterday a handyman (the only person i've heard use the word "dadgummit" sincerely since i left the hick town i went to high school in) spent approximately five hours trying to unclog it. four of those hours were spent on the roof, snaking the mainline between ours and mr. foster's apartment. i'm not sure how the mud got into the tub, but it fucking stinks.

i have not taken a shower in about five days, and i am scared to take a whore's bath because the real plumber could show up at any given moment. i stink. and i have to go do an alcohol study today. i am afraid they will think i am a real live hobo and withhold the booze, which would result in me recieving substantially less money.
